The only thing I didn’t like was the square toilets, which weren’t comfortable to sit on. Everything else worked well for us: the location was excellent, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and the water pressure was good. After climbing all those stairs, the cold AC felt great. With the doors and windows shut, we couldn’t hear street noise. When it cooled down, we could open the tiny balcony door and get fresh air through the bug screen.

We’d definitely choose Ca'Zaccaria again if we return to Venice. The apartment was clean, modern and well equipped, and there are places to eat nearby that open from 8 in the morning. It’s close to San Marco square, the sea and the vaporetto stops. The floor might bother some people, but the location and cleanliness are very good. I highly recommend it.

The house itself was good, but it was hard to find, and being on the top floor wasn’t very convenient.

The location in Venice is ideal, and the price can be good value. I was disappointed by how little information there was in the room, or more specifically, in the guest room managed by the Hotel Lux. Cleanliness was another issue: the room, especially the common areas, had deteriorated. There are many stairs, so this hotel isn’t suitable for elderly people. Also, Ca' San Zaccaria is not the same as the more upscale Hotel San Zaccaria. I’d recommend staying here if the rates are good; otherwise, look elsewhere.
