Appartamento Sant'Anzolo

We all loved being right in the heart of Venice, tucked away from the bustle on a peaceful square.

A good apartment in a great location, and very clean.

A few things in the apartment could use improvement, but it worked out as a decent compromise. The manager at La Fenice et des Artistes, who handles the hotel and apartments, was very welcoming and helpful, and quickly sorted out a few small problems with courtesy and kindness. The apartment itself was comfortable and in a strategic spot in central Venice.

We had a good stay for a few days near Campo Sant'Angelo, though the price felt a bit high for what we got. The space was managed well, with a large, comfortable room for four, two well-equipped bathrooms, stylish decor, TVs in both the living room and bedroom, and a well-equipped kitchen. The one small kitchen omission was a large serrated bread knife. Aside from that, things were very good. There were several little maintenance jobs left undone: the living room TV bracket needs adjusting, the kitchen hood needs cleaning, some door and drawer knobs are missing, the front door scrapes the floor, and its handle felt loose enough that we worried it might come off. I'm not sure whether the owners are responsible for the water pressure at the bathroom sinks and bidets, which was poor, although the showers and kitchen were fine. The stairway could have been cleaner too.
