Breakfast was excellent quality, with a modest selection for the size of the space. The hotel team also arranged a transfer that arrived on time and was good value. The rooms are cozy, the facilities are comfortable, and the staff are welcoming. It’s very close to the main attractions in San Marco. I’d highly recommend it if it fits your budget.

Our room looked out over a canal, with a gondola dock just below the window and gondolas passing throughout the day. The hotel sits between Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marcos, and the setting felt unmistakably Venetian, right down to the inside of the elevator. We loved that small-hotel feeling. There was a good breakfast buffet, and the staff were friendly. Hotel Aqua Palace really matched the place we’d come to visit.

We were about a 10-15 minute walk from the main sights, with enough distance from the crowds to enjoy some peace and quiet. Our spacious room had two lovely canal views and a genuine Venetian feel. The whole team was welcoming and attentive, and the breakfast staff were especially good. Breakfast was included. The hotel arranged airport transfers both ways; they cost a bit more, but the convenience was worth it. We had a great stay, from the warm welcome to the friendly goodbye.

We didn’t arrive until 10:30 pm and checked in at midnight. The concierge was very friendly, gave us a map, and explained what was nearby. Our room was quiet and comfortable, and the blackout curtains helped us sleep well. The hotel is right in the heart of Venice, about a five-minute walk from the piazza and many other sights. The staff were amazing, and I’d highly recommend staying here.

The rooms were great, the staff friendly, and breakfast was so good. The location made it easy to reach the main sights and public transport. For a fee, they arranged an airport transfer by taxi and water taxi, which worked well on arrival. Tides meant that option wasn’t available on the way out, but the vaporetto was an easy five-minute walk away. Thanks!
