We loved everything and would absolutely come back. The B&B is in the lovely Cannaregio area, on a quiet street away from the tourist bustle, but easy to reach on foot or by boat. The vaperetto stop is a two-minute walk away. Our room was luxuriously furnished, very clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was well stocked, with lovely coffee, and the woman serving in the morning was so kind and a real asset to the business. The owner met us on arrival and was friendly and full of helpful local tips about places to visit and restaurants. Grazie mille 🙏

Breakfast was delicious, coffee included, and the service was top-notch. The hotel felt new, fresh, and exceptionally clean. It’s right in the heart of the city, yet the area is surprisingly quiet, which is especially nice in Venice. If you’re deciding where to stay, this is a perfect choice.

We’ve already spent more than half of our family’s month in Europe, visiting London for 6 days, Paris for 7, and Interlaken for 2, with stays in Airbnbs, hotels, and a youth hostel. We still have Florence and Rome ahead, but this hotel in Venice may end up being our favorite. It’s a traditional building that’s been remodeled, and its facilities and service are better than most 4-star hotels. The room’s beds and blankets were cozy and clean, with plenty of extras. The floors were clean enough to walk on barefoot, and the bathroom was spacious and convenient. The built-in shower faucet showed how much the owner had invested in the facilities. The wall-mounted air conditioner kept the room cool and was well maintained. The free breakfast didn’t have a big selection, but it was enough to make a meal for several days. Mrs. Ritta, who managed breakfast, offered coffee, either Americano or cappuccino, and greeted our family with a lovely smile each time. The hotel is an 11-minute walk from Santa Lucia Station, manageable with our luggage. The S.Marcuola water bus stop is close by, making canal travel convenient, and there are plenty of good restaurants outside. I’d stay here again if I came back to Venice.

We were sorry we couldn’t stay longer. Max was a kind, helpful host, and his B&B is beautifully renovated inside an old building. We ate at three of the restaurants he suggested, and all were very good. The top-floor room was spacious and nicely furnished, with almost everything we needed for a short stay. After staying in 4 and 5-star palaces with canal views on several visits to Venice over the past 30 years, I found this modern, well-maintained room more comfortable, especially the clean, mould-free, fully working bathroom. The B&B is just a few minutes’ walk from the bus and train stations, water buses, and the city’s main sights. We walked almost everywhere, crossing by Traghetto twice.
