The kitchen had milk and muesli, packaged bread and similar items, plus an espresso maker, fridge, dishes and somewhere to sit. The chandelier was cool, and the furniture was probably authentic. But there was a hole in the floor that I kept dipping into, and the shower was so cramped I couldn't pick up soap if I dropped it. They really need some kind of toilet paper holder. It was very noisy, and we learned to shut the shutters tightly to block some of the noise and light.

A couple of things could be better: the shower was tiny, and the mattress felt old and stiff. Still, we had a positive stay. The managers were friendly and helpful, sent detailed directions for finding and entering the building, and tidied our room each day. It felt like a cozy, locally run B&B right in central Venice, rather than a big chain. We had plenty of space and privacy, and liked being able to book directly with the B&B.

The bathroom had been renovated, and the B&B was cleaned really well every day. It's not far from Rialto Bridge. Breakfast was basic and self-service, but it was a nice surprise since our booking didn't say it was included. One of the rooms can be loud at night, especially on weekends.

Cristina was so kind and helpful, and the rooms and shared breakfast room were always clean. The location is great, away from the busiest parts like San Marco but near areas where locals go. The restaurant across the plaza with outdoor seating is a must for food and drinks, and the chef is awesome.
