The room was clean and good, and the location was great. The bathroom was new, and breakfast came with a beautiful view. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The late check-in time was a small downside, and the steps up to our apartment were quite narrow for big suitcases.

For Venice, this is a very affordable bed and breakfast, and the stay was pleasant. It's near the train station, with a nice, clean room and Wi-Fi. Breakfast is very basic, though. The stairs to the rooms are very steep and narrow, so take care with bulky luggage. The owner is around to help.

Venice is beautiful, but summers bring too many tourists, so avoid that season if you can. You may also run into thugs or thieves, so be very, very careful.

The food was too creamy, and the service left us disappointed. When we asked if the bill could be split in two, the man serving us was extremely rude and his response was appalling.

The price and location were good, though it was a bit noisy.
