Our room had a patio in a gated courtyard, which was a great place to relax after exploring. Shops and restaurants were only about a 3 minute walk away. The room itself was really cool, with the bed upstairs on a split level.

The place was clean, and the room was more than enough for me. It’s in a quiet, peaceful area where I felt safe the whole time, and most places are a 30-minute walk or less. The staff were friendly and helpful. It rained throughout my stay, so I didn’t get to enjoy the courtyard as much as I’d hoped. I’d come back.

It costs a lot, like everything in Venice. The room is fine for sleeping, but that’s about it. Decent shower, regular bed, no closet, and just a basic kettle with tea bags. They even charge extra to replace towels or sheets, which was a first for me. The biggest issue was the noise: you hear people going by in the hall, the main door buzzing, and a nearby school in the morning. Honestly, it felt more like a hostel than a hotel, so I don’t get the hype.

Breakfast wasn’t included, though you could buy it at the main hotel, which also had an airport boat pickup. Our hotel was around the corner; we stayed in an apartment building that had been turned into rooms. Three of us shared a very spacious room with a queen bed, a twin, mini fridge, desk, TV, and chair. There was also a large outdoor seating area just for our room. No elevator, and the stairs were narrow.
