The bed, duvet and pillows were very comfortable, and the room itself was clean. The location was handy, with a nice range of restaurants within walking distance and easy boat bus connections to and from the island. The cabin was small, as you'd expect on a boat, but there was visible mold in the bathroom. The shower door didn't fit properly, so the whole floor got soaked, and the air conditioning was very loud. Breakfast was limited but OK. There were also some odd rules, like not being allowed to leave the boat with the room keys, and unclear explanations for why food wasn't allowed in the rooms. It's a fun novelty for a night or two, but staying longer would be a struggle.

Sept, 28-30 2017 We had a fun stay aboard Caicco Freedom and DIVA. The cabin was clean and nice, the staff greeted us warmly, and breakfast was good. It was a fun new experience, especially since I love boats. I got a little dizzy and had sea legs for a couple of hours on shore, but still enjoyed it. We'd recommend staying here. A heads-up about the taxi boats: we were charged €90.00 to get there, though the bus boat could have taken us for about €7.00. One of the staff might be able to meet you at the bus boat stop, so call them when you get to Venice. Have fun! Chow! Larry and LaPreal Hansen USA (Utah)

Captain Mateo made our stay comfortable and really entertaining, and the chef Enrico cooked great food. The boathouse turned our Venice trip into a great experience. Absolutely amazing, we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay in the world.

The team was super helpful, and breakfast was simple but delicious. I loved falling asleep to the rocking water, and each room had a fully working shower and toilet. The location is lovely and quite far from the tourist center. The only downside is that rooms without air conditioning can get hot, and the fan is quite noisy.

Daniela, the host, and Mateo, the captain, were incredibly helpful and absurdly friendly. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The cabins were much bigger than I expected and comfortable too. This was by far the best place I stayed in Italy, so don't let the marina's location put you off. It's ideal if you like exploring and want to get away from the crowds. The walk from the train station is roughly an hour, but it takes you through a quieter side of Venice that many tourists don't see, with locals, lovely green parks and outdoor contemporary art galleries. That walk there and back was my favorite part of Venice. The only downside was the small fans instead of air conditioning. They'd be fine if they weren't so noisy at night.
