This small boutique guest house in the San Polo neighborhood was clean and comfortable, with attentive, helpful staff. We had a whole floor to ourselves. The amenities were excellent, including air conditioning, cable TV, and daily housekeeping. Breakfast was free, filling, and a great start to a day exploring Venice. The location made getting around easy: it’s close to Rialto Bridge and the nearby Silverstro water taxi stop. There’s also a private dock where the water taxi can drop you off from the airport. I’d recommend it if you’re after a laid-back stay. It would be nice if they hosted a wine-down happy hour a few nights a week so guests could mingle.

The only thing we regretted was booking for just one night. We loved Venice and would definitely return to Ca’Angeli. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming, breakfast was lovely, and the bathroom was spacious and very clean. The stay exceeded our expectations.

My family and I spent three nights here and loved the central location, spacious room, and excellent breakfast with plenty of options. The hotel staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We’d choose this hotel again on our next trip to Venice.

The staff were super friendly and on site 24/7, and the building itself was beautiful. We were in a canal-view room, which cost extra, so I can’t comment on the other rooms. The hotel is in a quiet alley in central San Polo, close to an ACTV and Alilaguna water-bus stop. We were sad to leave so soon.
