The pool was nice, and there's a bike shed. Reception guys were really helpful. Breakfast had a good choice, parking was easy, and the bus service into town was good.

The generous breakfast and regular connections to the Lido port made getting around easy. Buses A, B, and 11 run every 10 minutes, and vaporettos from the port take you into Venice. Lido is a little way from the center, but the quieter evenings can be a plus. The resort feels well equipped, and there’s even an elevator. There’s also a pool, which seems especially popular with American guests. What put me off returning was finding my electric razor broken and clearly used after I came back one evening. I told reception, but got no apology or even a shrug. I didn’t like the thought of someone going through and using my things. If you stay here, think twice about bringing your razor.

The hotel was clean and quiet, and we had a great stay. I especially liked the balconies and how much room there was around the beds. The rooms were a decent size, though the bathroom felt a bit tight for larger people. The place fits into the neighborhood while still having a character of its own. The breakfast buffet was good, and the restaurant staff were quick to clear tables and refill things. I believe there was an elevator, which mattered with two older grandmothers who struggle with stairs and luggage. The stairs were manageable too, with reasonable step heights and a landing to rest on. With chronic pain and a neck and back injury, those little details matter when I travel.

The pool had one odd moment: a rather mad grandpa told me to tie my hair back, even though the written rules didn’t say that, and he had long hair himself without tying it. 🙄 Still, the staff were really nice, and breakfast was always fresh and plentiful. It’s a really nice, big hotel with a swimming pool, tennis courts, and lots more. I’d definitely come back!
