It was a quiet, relaxed part of town, and I enjoyed the walk into the center, though it might feel far to some. The quaint hotel served a very nice breakfast, and the staff were incredibly helpful both before and during our stay, among the best I’ve dealt with. I’d definitely recommend it and return.

The two cats at the hotel were sweet and friendly. Breakfast was good, especially the croissants, and they cooked eggs to order. There was tea and juice in the afternoons, plus a happy hour drink special. Check-in was easy, and the friendly staff knew the area well. We liked this small boutique-style hotel and its quiet spot away from the crowds and noise around the main attractions. It was an easy walk from our water taxi, and about 20 minutes on foot to San Marco square, with plenty of shops along the way.

We found everything we needed in the room, and there was even a spot to make tea whenever we wanted. The location made getting around easy, with everything nearby, including the vaporetto stop, and a laundry place just a five-minute walk away. The service was kind and the place was just right for us. One tip if you’re staying anywhere on the island: pack light, since there are hardly any elevators in that part of the city. I’d recommend it 100%.
