The showers ran out of hot water fairly quickly, though I'm not sure if that's typical for Venice homes or hotels. Aside from that, we had a wonderful two-day stay in the apartment. The staff were polite and helpful, especially when they arranged a last-minute gondola ride without a wait. Two other couples who arrived for rides had to wait because they hadn't booked. We were also close to both Rialto and San Marco.
The staff were polite, helpful, and spoke very well. This was one of our best apartments in Europe, with large rooms that felt comparable to those in four- or five-star hotels. It was fully serviced, and the things we needed were easy to find, even salt and pepper.
The high wooden beams give the apartment a special charm, and there's lots of room and good equipment. The location is ideal, close to everything. Just be aware of the long staircase if you have mobility problems or bulky, heavy bags.
The location was good, but cleanliness was poor. There wasn't a blanket on the bed, so we had to find one in the wardrobe ourselves. My daughter got mite bites on her face. After I complained, they quickly came and changed the bedsheet. For what I paid, I expected more professional service.
The bed was perfect and the kitchen had lots of equipment. There was some street noise from below the window, but it was okay. A very nice man showed us the apartment at the Hotel Bruno check-in point. 👍
