The location is great, between the F.Te Nove and Ca’ D’Oro ACTV stops. You can get to Ca’ D’Oro without crossing a bridge, which is handy with luggage. It's budget-friendly for Venice, and the area is quiet. The beds are cozy, with enough pillows and blankets, and there was decent cutlery, a working fridge, and plenty of warm water. The host was welcoming, coordinated everything via WhatsApp, gave us a thorough walkthrough and local tips, and replied quickly. They provided maps, liquid body wash, and extra sheets and towels. The window would be a nice spot for coffee in summer. The place is rundown and needs major upkeep. Some lamps and switches were broken, the furniture didn't match, cupboards had no handles, and the floors were dusty even though there was a cleaning fee. The bathroom was moldy and smelled foul, an issue other guests have noted and that still hasn't been addressed. There's no television, and the washing machine was always in use with linen. The beds were comfortable, and the host was friendly, but the condition of the property was disappointing. It could work for a one or two night stopover.

I stayed here in the summer of 2024. The hostess was nice, and both the place and its location were lovely. Venice was beautiful. I hope I can go back soon!

The room is quite spacious, with a couple of beds and a closet, plus a kitchen, shower room and living room. You get what you pay for at this decent hotel. There weren't any pans to cook with, even though you're allowed to use the kitchen.

The accommodation is wonderful, with a beautiful room in an excellent location. Five stars for that, but the shower needs some money spent on it to make it decent. Four stars.

The pictures don't quite match reality ;) The kitchen is only for breakfast, and there's no fixed reception, so you have to call them beforehand.
