Those quiet evenings in the lounge with a book were such a nice break after the busy sightseeing. We stayed two nights and found the location handy for the main sights, too. Breakfast was lovely, with local treats, fresh cornetti and homemade baked apples, while gondoliers singing nearby made the mornings feel special. Alessandro made us feel welcome from the moment he opened the door. He’s friendly, knows Venice well, and is always happy to chat. The room and bathroom had everything we needed, and the decor and cleanliness showed so much care. Even the whole place smelled wonderful. We’d happily come back. Thanks, Alessandro, for a memorable stay!

We only had two nights, though the large apartment overlooking a little canal made us wish we could stay a week. Gondolas kept passing by, and we could see the opera house across the water. Alessandro was kind and accommodating. The B&B and apartment both had the feel of a nicely decorated small hotel. It’s just steps from San Marco, with plenty of restaurants and sights nearby. I’ve visited Venice many times and would definitely recommend Gio & Gio.

Alessandro gave us a list of his favorite restaurants and bars, and the places were honestly wonderful. He and a young woman on staff were both so friendly, attentive, helpful, and sweet. The B&B is beautiful and very central, and breakfast was delicious. We had a great time, and it made our holiday even better. Highly recommended!

Alessandro’s knowledge of local food made our trip even better. He’s a local and had lots of helpful tips about where to eat. The place is quiet and clean, with a great breakfast, and sits right in the middle of everything. We were lucky to choose it. Thank you!

Our balcony looked out over a canal, which I really enjoyed, and the room itself was beautiful, with a luxurious feel and an extremely comfortable bed. Alessandro takes care of every detail and made us feel at home. He’s professional and knows Venice well. The place is close to Piazza San Marco and other historic sights. I’d wholeheartedly recommend staying here.
