Open the front door and you're at the vaporetto stop, and Rialto bridge is about a five-minute walk away. Saint Mark square takes maybe 15 minutes on foot. The location is excellent, two doors down from the Aman. But the part I could have enjoyed all day was opening the windows straight onto the Grand Canal. People passing in boats seemed shocked to see us inside the house. The unit had everything we needed, and the host was super responsive.

Sitting with coffee and our feet dangling over the Grand Canal, watching Venice wake up, was hard to beat. The apartment is very large, and the host had everything ready along with a nice welcome gift. There's a vaporetto stop right at the front door, in a perfect central location. If we return to Venice, we'll stay here again.

The canal is right outside the window, close enough to dip your feet in the water. You hear the noise and traffic passing along it too. A real Venezia experience! 😃

We spent an afternoon sipping wine and waving to people on the boats, which was a fun extra. I'm still amazed we found such a great spot to enjoy Venice.

Those four big living room windows looking over the Grand Canal made the weekend unforgettable. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable, and Cristina was a great host. It's right in central Venice, easy to get to, with all the main sights within a 15-20 minute walk. I had a wonderfully relaxing stay. Highly recommended if you love beautiful things.
