We loved staying here. It’s cute and cozy, the breakfast is just right, and it’s an affordable option in Venice.

The staff were really accommodating and helpful, and there are lots of shops nearby. It’s also very close to the train station. Nothing fancy, but the rooms are just big enough for a night or two in Venice.

There are bars and restaurants right beside the hotel, yet it’s tucked into a quiet courtyard. For the price, you can’t beat the location: about 10 minutes from both the station and Rialto. The room itself is basic. The minibar had beer, prosecco, and soft drinks at fair prices, around €1-4. Just remember staff are only there until 8pm, so let them know if you’ll arrive later.

The room was awful, with a bad smell and no air conditioning. Breakfast was just one croissant and one cappuccino per person, with no choice or variety. The staff were rude, and a woman in her 40s wouldn’t let me use the lobby bathroom, saying there was no space. The scariest moment came while my family and I were asleep: a staff member and another person came into our room, arguing loudly and collecting a breakfast tray left by my door. We felt completely unsafe. We left the next day to find another hotel. This was a horrible stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it.
