Cipriani, A Belmond Hotel

The breakfasts are what I love most here. The food is only part of it, the cups, plates and tableware are so elegant and thoughtfully chosen that even coffee feels different. Having breakfast on the terrace with a view over Venice is one of those moments I’d love to relive. This is my favorite hotel in Venice, and arriving here gives me a feeling I can’t quite put into words. The pool, grounds, relaxation areas and rooms are all at the highest level whenever I’ve stayed. I especially love the small balcony rooms overlooking the garden, with fresh flowers, greenery and quiet. Rain outside makes it feel cosy and almost cinematic. There’s a sense of history throughout the place. Iconic figures, actors and artists have chosen it for decades, and that atmosphere still lingers. Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren, Paul Newman and Brad Pitt have stayed here, and George Clooney celebrated his wedding here. I don’t come back just for comfort, but for a special feeling I haven’t found anywhere else. 🤍

On Giudecca Island, Hotel Cipriani looks out over the Venetian Lagoon and St. Mark’s Square. It’s a peaceful escape from the busy tourist areas, with breathtaking views. For me, it represents luxury and elegance in Venice.

Staying here feels like coming home to family. We love this hotel, and they always welcome us so warmly. It’s dog friendly too, and our dog Charlie enjoyed his second year here. The food and rooms are amazing. I can only recommend it. Charlie+Karolina+Christopher 💕

The staff were so polite and helpful, and the whole hotel looked beautiful. I photographed a gorgeous three-day wedding there and would happily do it all again.
