This was the worst hotel experience we've ever had. We arrived from Barcelona yesterday as a group of three, but two people left for Paris, leaving me alone. During the night, they banged on the door repeatedly to check whether there were three of us or more people inside. Eventually I answered angrily that I was alone and asked why they were disturbing me while I slept. 0/10, we will never come back.

Hotel Giovannina was a pleasant experience, and I’d recommend it to anyone on a tight budget. The receptionist was really kind and helpful. Our room was clean, and we received fresh soap, toilet paper and other supplies every day. The location worked perfectly for us, close to both the train and bus stations. Thank you for the experience, Hotel Giovannina!

The photos are the best warning you'll get. Calling this a hotel is generous; it felt like a dumpster with beds in it. Comfort, cleanliness and basic human standards seemed completely absent. I wouldn't recommend this place even to my worst enemies. 👎🏻 👎🏻 👎🏻

The pictures speak for themselves. By far the worst hotel I've experienced in my short life. If dirt and bedbugs are what you like, book at this miserable hotel.

Friendly people and a handy location made this a great hotel. I’d happily recommend it.
