They let us leave our luggage after checkout so we could still go out, which was handy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and gave us tips on where to go and how to get there. Breakfast was pretty good, and the rooms were clean, nice, and had what we needed. The low wooden beam caught me on the head once, though that might have been my fault. Still, it was great value for the price.

Leaving was hard, I could easily have stayed a week. It’s a peaceful, clean place with a very helpful team, and an ideal base for a Venice visit. The beach and several good restaurants are nearby, as are regular ferries to the train station, other islands, and the city centre.

The service was great and everyone was very supportive, and breakfast was good too. It’s a calm, pleasant place close to the Lido boat station. The ride from the central train station takes around 30 minutes.

Villa Casanova is a great base for visiting Venice, on a quiet street about five minutes from the ferry station. The room was neat, the bed comfortable after a full day walking, and it was cleaned daily with fresh towels. Breakfast had plenty of fresh choices. Alessandro was a lovely host. He shared lots of useful information and made us unforgettable cappuccinos. The room price was very affordable. I’d definitely recommend Villa Casanova, Lido!

The bed was comfortable, and we especially liked the friendly barista who made our morning coffee and breakfast. The decor isn’t posh, and the AC doesn’t cool very well, so we were glad we’d brought our own fan. The location is ideal, on a quiet lane within easy walking distance of the vaporetta, restaurants, bars, shops, a laundromat, and everything else we needed.
