Breakfast was beautiful, and the canal views came with a really quiet setting. The bed at Hotel Guidecca was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. It’s a bit out of the way, but the waterbus is close, and regular trips up and down the Grand Canal are an experience in themselves. You get to see more than you might from a more central stay. Definitely recommend!

Breakfast was phenomenal, and the room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels and bed linen. I loved having a balcony for morning or evening coffee. The room was clean and nicely decorated, and the quieter setting on Giudecce was a real plus. I highly recommend this hotel and think I’ll be back.

The waterbuses 2 and 4 stop about a five-minute walk away. You can take the 2 to Murano through Venice, which is handy. Reception was accommodating about holding our bags and looking after the key while we were out. The hotel is tucked down a quiet lane on Giudecca, a good base for visiting Venice and the nearby popular islands at a more affordable price. It felt safe and was clean and well situated. The rooms aren’t modern, but ours had a good shower with warm water, storage, a fridge, safe, and kettle. Breakfast was adequate and added value, though nothing special.

The staff were extremely helpful, and the rooms were comfortable. It’s a good location, with a connection to the main places nearby that’s less than a three-minute walk away. Best hotel of our trip by far.

A short waterbus ride takes you away from the crowds. It’s a cozy little hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast is included in the room price, but could use some improvement since there’s no plant-based milk.
