A water taxi from the airport can bring you to the Rialto market stop, about 100 yards / meters from the hotel, so you can avoid hauling luggage over cobblestones. There are good restaurants and gelato nearby, and it’s easy to reach the historic sights if that’s what you’re after. I stayed in October 2025 and found the hotel charming, with a great location and VERY friendly, communicative staff. Breakfast each morning was solid, an easy coffee and bite before heading out. It’s also a good base if you’d rather wander and get lost in Venice. I recommend it.

The staff were friendly, the beds were comfortable, and everything was very clean. Our room was on the fourth floor, though, and we had to haul our luggage up narrow stairs. The bathroom also smelled a bit, maybe cigarettes or mold, I couldn’t tell.

The stairs were quite a workout, five flights with all our luggage, but they made us appreciate how people lived 800 years ago when the building was built. Staff were amazing, the location was great, and breakfast was perfect when we came back from watching sunrise near St Marks Square. I’d definitely stay again, just with fewer bags.

The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the 24-hour reception was a real plus. They gave us great suggestions for places to go, and everyone was friendly and ready to help. When I had trouble with the airline, they accepted my luggage even though I wasn’t there. I loved my stay. For me, this is the best place in Venice, without a doubt, and it’s very well located.

The location near Rialto Bridge was perfect, and the hotel was cleaner and more comfortable than I expected. Breakfast was good, and the staff were polite and friendly. The one catch is that breakfast times are assigned. If you don’t sign up ahead, you’re given whatever slot is still available.
