The street-facing room was loud late at night and early in the morning, and the furniture is old. Those things might be bearable, but being asked for 10 euros to leave our bags for a few hours after checkout felt unreasonable. I travel often and usually leave my suitcase at the hotel while I explore before going to the airport. I’ve never been charged for that before, and this is why I can’t rate the place highly. If all you need is a bed and hot water, it may do. Beyond that, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The lively location came with noise all night, and the rest of the stay was disappointing too. We couldn't get a comfortably warm shower, so we skipped showering altogether. The blanket had no proper cover, just a bare comforter with one flat sheet underneath. I saw stains on the comforter, and found potato chip crumbs under the pillow when I lifted it.

A lovely house in a great spot, and good value for the money.
