Hotel L'Orologio Venezia

The only snag for me was the door. I had to push against it at just the right moment to get it open. Aside from that, my wife and I got everything we wanted from this stylish hotel, right in central Venice and just steps from the Rialto Mercado Vaporetto stop. We visited during Carnival and had a fantastic time. Our room was clean and thoughtfully arranged, and the heating was steady and comfortable in February. Breakfast was generous and filling, with bottomless Mimosas. Whenever we asked the front desk for something, whether extra towels or directions, the response was polite, accurate, and immediate. I’d happily recommend it and come back on another visit to Venezia.

The people we met were all so friendly and welcoming, and the service was great. We loved the excellent breakfast too. It was our first visit to Venice, and the hotel worked perfectly for us. Our room looked out over the Grand Canal and had everything we needed. The location is ideal, close to the Rialto Bridge, with easy trips around the city on foot or by boat.

I’d come back to Venice just to stay here again. The staff, especially Mattia, Giorgio, and Luca, were kind, attentive, and welcoming. The breakfast team and cleaners were lovely too, and they all made our visit feel special. At Hotel L’Orologio Venezia, the interior is gorgeous and clearly well cared for. Our room felt luxurious, with high ceilings and lots of space, and breakfast had plenty of choice. And this might sound random, but the shower was hands down the best I’ve ever used. Some people mention that not every room faces the canal. I wouldn’t worry about it, since you can step out by the entrance or ground floor and enjoy the canal view there. The location also makes it easy to get around and see the main sights.

We were made to feel at home by all the staff, and they handled every request quickly, carefully, and with real enthusiasm, even arranging a water limo to the train station when we were leaving. The room was very comfortable, and breakfast was amazing. The photo is just of a great old-fashioned drink from the hotel’s excellent bar. We’d gladly return.
