Dodgy practice. My partner booked the hotel, then got an email asking her to send her credit card details and passport by email or WhatsApp. A secure link would cost an extra 30 euro. The booking platform warns against sending card details by email or phone, and it obviously isn’t safe. I’d encourage these chancers to read the Italian consumer code and the EU payment service directive, which clearly state that surcharges on card payments are prohibited. In the end, we booked another hotel.

The room was spotless, and checking in without reception staff was quick and simple. The rooms are high quality for the price, too. You're between Rialto bridge and St Mark's square, which made the location perfect. I'd book it again without hesitation.

The rooms have plenty of space and simple, attractive decor. The building is in a quiet square, close to everything, and both the rooms and the building were very good. I'd recommend it.

We stayed in apartment #11, up on the roof, with a terrace. The decor was lovely, and the apartment was really big. Everything was spotless, including the all-marble bathroom. It was quiet, and getting in and checking in were easy. Perfectly placed for the main sights. I'd book again if I return to Venizia.

The apartment was clean and comfortable, with nice decor, a kitchen, a lounge, and a small terrace. It's just a couple of minutes from the Rialto Bridge, which makes the location an easy reason to recommend it. We had a lovely stay.
