That terrace was amazing, with views and the sound of gondolas passing along a busy canal, music and all. When we got in very late, around 11 pm, the host brought us snacks and drinks to get us through the night. The apartment and its location were excellent, though the entrance felt dark and damp and there are lots of stairs. Our 11-year-old daughter loved the round bed upstairs by the terrace. The downstairs bedroom wasn't as cool as the one upstairs, but my persnickety husband found it nice enough. The furnishings and rugs feel a bit stale and could use an update. I'd definitely stay here again.

Dogi place was comfortable, clean, and big enough for my family of five. We stayed in Venice from Thursday to Sunday. The bathroom shower could use a little TLC, so that's why I gave it four stars.

The terrace is the standout, with lovely city views and a perfect spot for an evening glass of wine. The apartment was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable, and it was surprisingly quiet despite being so central. The owner was friendly and accommodating, with lots of useful tips and recommendations. San Marco Terrace is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities we needed. It's right in the heart of Venice, just a stone's throw from Piazza San Marco, with easy access to attractions, restaurants and shops. I'd highly recommend Dogi Suites - San Marco Terrace apartment for a luxurious, comfortable stay. Five stars!

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It was filthy as soon as we came in, and the carpentry is second-rate. You have to climb three flights of stairs to reach an awful central area. Don't stay here.
