La Locandiera

The rooms were big, with high ceilings, and very clean. There was even a smart TV for the little ones. It’s right in the middle of town, ideal for a short stay. The service was excellent and it didn’t feel like a 2 star hotel at all. The receptionist wasn’t there at checkout, so we handed our keys to the cleaner, but I don’t have much else to complain about. Definitely recommended.

The location was a real plus: right in central Venezia, yet tucked away from the busy streets and noise. We had a lovely, clean room looking out onto the pleasant surroundings, and the staff were friendly and happy to help with our bags. The shower was relaxing, the air conditioning worked well in the summer heat, and there was Netflix too. We loved our stay, especially for the price.

The room was roomy and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the area was quiet. Gina at reception was the standout, though. She helped us figure out what to do and pointed us in the right direction.

The location was great, but our room had no view. The facilities felt mediocre, and the shower in the tub was very slippery, even though there was a stool to sit on. A dog nearby barked through the day and until at least 10 p.m., and reception was often unattended.
