What bothered us most was the lack of follow-up the next morning. Nobody from management got in touch or offered an apology or any gesture, such as breakfast, a future discount, or compensation for the disruption. The receptionist was kind, helpful, and professional, but the hotel’s response afterward was very disappointing for a chain in this category. The hotel itself was pleasant, nicely decorated, and well maintained. Breakfast had a good selection and quality, though I’m not sure it merits four stars. On the first night, we found a small leak and the heating was very noisy. The leak had stopped by morning, so we thought it might be condensation and didn’t make an issue of it. On the second night we came back around 11 p.m. to find the main light out. The receptionist came to look, and we noticed water on the floor in a different place. He confirmed an electrical problem meant we couldn’t stay in that room. The hotel was full for the weekend. We declined a complimentary drink because it was late, then moved to a nearby hotel/apartment. That room wasn’t ready: it had one bed instead of two, a broken light switch and shower, and a wardrobe with no door. We accepted it and stayed the night. For a four-star hotel, service should be impeccable when something serious happens.

The room got wonderfully warm, and housekeeping was great. We had a lovely three-night stay in a peaceful spot, just a short walk from Venice’s busy streets. I’d stay here again.

The breakfast buffet had a great range, and the beds were comfortable. We also liked the welcoming staff and communal spaces, along with the lovely interior. It’s a wonderful hotel in a quiet neighbourhood that’s still easy to reach. Definitely recommend it.

Those complimentary drinks and snacks were such a nice treat after a day of sightseeing. We stayed for a lovely couple of nights, with a good choice at breakfast and a welcoming, helpful team. The elegant room was beautiful and very clean. The location was just right, away from the crowds but still an easy walk to everywhere.

Nina gave us such helpful service when we arrived, marking the best spots on a map and sharing how much she knew. She was still smiling despite the late hour. We stayed in February 2025, and the room we’d requested was beautiful, with a really comfortable bed after a long day on foot. The hotel sits back from the main street, so it’s less busy, but attractions and lovely restaurants are still an easy walk away. Breakfast had lots of options and everything we tried was delicious. It’s the most beautiful hotel we’ve stayed in. We’ll definitely return, and I couldn’t recommend it more.
