I needed an inexpensive place to sleep from 2 to 6 in the afternoon before driving through the night. I wasn’t planning on a full stay. I rushed the booking, focused on the price and didn’t notice I’d selected the girls’ room, around 18, I think. Less than five minutes after reserving for the next day, I emailed the staff to explain what had happened. They didn’t reply. I expected they might move me to another room or offer some solution, but nothing came. At about 7:30 pm I asked to cancel. A minute after I sent the cancellation, they answered that it was my mistake and I had to pay the full price. That felt really unfair. I wouldn’t recommend giving them your money. Avoid this place.

Having our own room was great, and the location made it easy to see the sights, eat, have drinks and take gondolas while keeping away from the tourist crowds, even though we know we’re tourists too 🤣. Loved it!

I had a really enjoyable stay. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and nice. It was also easy to reach and in a great location.

For a budget stay, this student accommodation worked well. It’s close to the train station, and you can leave your luggage there. The room was roomy, with big cupboards, two desks and a sink. There are three bathrooms along the corridor, and at least one was always free, so we never had to wait. The Wi-Fi was very good, and there’s lots of shared space in the kitchen and the upstairs and downstairs lounges. There’s a curfew after midnight, though it didn’t affect us. Laundry was frustrating. We booked a time one morning, but other people jumped ahead of us, so we had to keep returning every half hour to check and wait for the wash to finish before moving it to the dryer. The younger woman with curly hair on staff was very helpful. The rooms can get quite warm, and although there’s a ceiling fan, it’s something to keep in mind overnight.
