Palazzo Miracoli Apartments

The team communicated well, and all the useful information they sent beforehand was much appreciated. Check-in and check-out were smooth and stress-free. We stayed as a family of four in the stunning Millecampi apartment with our sons, aged 11 and 9. Palazzo Miracoli is ideally placed, steps from the main sights but quietly tucked away from the crowds. The stylish design, immaculate cleanliness, superb furnishings, and views blew us away. Grazie Elisabetta and the wonderful team, non vediamo l’ora di tornare!

The location and the apartment’s cleanliness were incredible, and the hosts, Elisabetta and Claudio, were gracious and so hospitable. They went out of their way to make sure my husband, baby, and I had everything we might need. Claudio also took us around La Serenissima in his beautiful boat and showed us lots of little corners tourists never get to see. We’re very grateful. Palazzo Miracoli is truly a miracle accommodation. Bravo! Wonderful Venice, grazie mille! Di cuore.

We booked two nights in the Figheri apartment. It looks lovely, but we had a number of problems. The loft above was extremely noisy. Whenever the residents walked around, we could hear the floor creaking. The manager said this wasn’t normal and would ask the guest to be quiet, but in the morning the cleaner caused the same noise for hours. I took videos. Large chunks of the epoxy floor were missing, with some patches repaired and others still open, creating trip hazards. Then the water went out at 10pm on our second night. I messaged the manager on WhatsApp shortly after, and again at 8:30am after sleeping without hot water. It wasn’t fixed until after we checked out. Despite consumer laws and protections, the hotel refused any reimbursement or compensation beyond 40% off a future stay. As an Australian visiting Italy for the first time, that wasn’t a suitable resolution. After all the back-and-forth messages, I felt dismissed and like they had minimised what happened. That’s why I’m leaving one star.

I really appreciated the warm welcome, and the apartment itself was spotless, huge, and carefully put together. We had a breathtaking view of the church and canal. It’s also well placed: the main sights are within a 20-minute walk, but the neighborhood is calmer and has fewer tourists. We found excellent nearby restaurants without long waits, too. The one thing that affected our stay was the noise from upstairs. We could hear every movement through the floors, and it kept us from sleeping on our last night. That may not bother everyone, and I know it’s common in Venetian buildings, but better sound insulation would have made this a 10/10 for us. We’re very happy we chose this place and would definitely come back.
