We stayed with our family for three nights and can't wait to come back. The location was hard to beat: St. Mark's Square is under a ten-minute walk away, but the hotel sits in a quiet pocket away from the crowds and tourist chaos. Restaurants, souvenir shops, and gelaterias are right outside. Our room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully kept, with housekeeping doing a fantastic job each day. Breakfast was freshly prepared and had all the essentials. At arrival, friendly receptionists made us feel at home and gave us a helpful orientation guide. The 6 PM taxi tour was a highlight of the trip, so take them up on it. Palazzo San Lorenzo felt safe, peaceful, and family-friendly, with a luxurious feel and great value.

The room was comfortable, very clean, and decorated beautifully in a classic Venetian style. Staff were extremely friendly and always ready with restaurant suggestions or interesting places to see. Breakfast was very good, with fresh products and great Italian coffee. Palazzo San Lorenzo is in a quiet part of Venice but only a short walk from Piazza San Marco, making it an excellent base for exploring. I had a great stay and would happily return on my next visit.

The location was perfect, right in the city center, and we really liked the hotel. Our room was cozy and very clean, and the service was friendly. They helped us with everything, and breakfast was delicious. You're the best! We'll definitely recommend this hotel.

The room was clean and looked after well, and Jane did an excellent job with housekeeping. The location also made it easy to reach the sights. Those were the strong points of our stay. We had arranged help with arrival and our luggage, but neither was provided as promised. Check-in felt hurried, then the concierge gave us a long, scripted set of mostly touristy recommendations that didn’t feel tailored to us. Our pre-booked taxi boat left late, which had us worrying about missing the train. The hotel said traffic caused the delay, but the driver later said the hotel had called him very late, so there may have been a communication or coordination problem. We also never got a welcoming greeting at the front desk, even when we greeted staff first. Some of the young trainees made an effort, but the older staff, especially the men, ignored us. The front office and concierge service took away from what could have been a much better stay. Better communication, staff training, attention to guests, and a change in the concierge’s attitude would help.

The bed was really comfy, and we loved the room. Breakfast was super tasty, with lots to choose from. The location was great too. We did have an issue with the air conditioning, but the staff were quick to help and got it fixed right away.
