Palazzo Sanluca

The suite was gorgeous, and Eleonora and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful. This charming hotel is only a few minutes from the Rialto bridge and the Canal Grande. A five-star stay and an unforgettable experience.

We especially liked how close the hotel was to the grand canal and San Marco's square. The staff were wonderful and arranged taxis as well as a trip to the glass factory. Our rooms were clean, large, well heated and furnished. We really enjoyed staying at Palazzo San Luca and would highly recommend it.

For our family of five, the Junior Apartment worked perfectly for a two-night New Year’s Eve and Day stay. We wanted to be near San Marco Cathedral, have easy access to public transport and dining, and keep the cost somewhat reasonable. It met all of those aims, which is why it gets five stars from me. We arrived to a clean, spacious apartment and some lovely gifts. The slanted floors added a bit of authenticity. Communication with the main hotel staff was excellent, and they were accommodating. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice.

On our second trip to Venice, we chose this hotel and loved how well it captured the city’s atmosphere. It sits down a small, somewhat hidden alley, but inside it was very clean and well maintained. The Rialto Bridge is less than a five-minute walk away, so the location worked really well. The hotel emailed detailed instructions soon after we booked, and the staff were incredibly kind, sharing lots of useful information for our family traveling from Korea. We used the VIP Service when we arrived. A staff member met us right in front of the San Marco parking area, and even with six pieces of luggage, getting to the hotel was easy. There was a welcome drink waiting, and they also offered us a bottle of wine, which we enjoyed. Breakfast isn’t provided, though there are plenty of nearby restaurants serving it, so that wasn’t a problem. There’s no elevator, but the hotel is only about four floors, and the stairs weren’t too difficult. After checkout, one of the friendly staff members even walked with us all the way to the water-taxi pier. We really appreciated the warm hospitality and how they helped make our family’s stay comfortable and memorable.
