Be sure to use the address he gives you: I followed the booking site's directions and wound up at another apartment from the same company in a totally different area. Also, getting to San Marco Square through Carnival crowds takes over 30 minutes on foot, so a 24-hour water taxi pass is useful if you don't want to walk.
