The facility is beautiful, the service and quality were amazing, and breakfast was delicious. The location was a real problem for us, though. We’d booked two nights but could only stay one because it was so far from Venice Airport, and we waited two hours for the ferry to Venice.

The staff were wonderful and really looked after us, especially Adele. We loved the beautifully furnished hotel and its setting on Lido, which is lovely in its own right. We took a water taxi into Venice, and it made for a perfect complimentary trip. We’ll definitely be back. Do yourself a favor and stay here.

After busy days in Venice, it was lovely to have the hotel as a place to retreat to. We really enjoyed the setting and the whole team, and the local restaurant they recommended was perfecto! We had a wonderful four-night stay. Murray & Patrick, Dublin Ireland.

Getting there means paying 80 euros for a ferry, so be prepared for that. Once there, it felt like the middle of nowhere, with no decent food nearby. The rooms need attention, especially the beds, and the service was below par. I wouldn’t recommend it, and my experience didn’t match the other reviews at all.

Malamocco was so quiet and surreal, and the historic building has a magical charm. We spent two nights at Relais Alberti to explore Venice-Lido, and getting around by bike was highly recommended. The staff had one booked for us and ready when we checked in. It’s a fascinating place to stay, and a little memory I’ll keep close.
