EMA is a treasure, but the manager, Vivianna, is impossible to describe. The location is excellent and the apartments are okay, though the kitchen didn’t even have paper towels, the TV remotes had no batteries, and there was no corkscrew. Thank goodness Ema brought her own right away. I asked for one extra hour before checkout because I had meetings and didn’t want to carry luggage in 40-degree heat and 100% humidity. The reply was: "[6/25, 15:37 Is not my problem if you have a meeting. The check out is at 10. Bye". So polite and courteous, right? I’ll stay away next time I’m back in Lido.

We had told them our arrival time in advance, but still ended up waiting on the street with our child for 40 minutes in 33-degree heat. One employee was apparently handling check-ins in several parts of the city at once. The apartment wasn’t furnished for a comfortable stay. It was missing basics like shower shelves, kitchen utensils, hooks, garbage bags, washing machine tablets, and a small reading light by the bed. The bedroom skylight blind couldn’t be opened because its remote was broken, leaving the room dark. The toilet paper was so cheap it fell apart on my finger, so we bought our own, and the toilet kept running. The downstairs doorbell was broken too. The entrance courtyard had no lighting in the evening. The floor there is meant for cars, not people, so it’s easy to trip and suitcase wheels can be damaged. We had to carry our cases, since guests can’t use the main entrance with the smooth floor. The house faces the sun on a busy street and has no shade all day. Mold in the bathrooms is visible in the photos. Unfortunately, Booking.com hasn’t published the authentic photos we submitted, which seriously makes me question how credible the reviews are.
