The staff made a real difference, especially Stefano, who was attentive and gave us useful tips for meals and sightseeing. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the location is hard to beat. I’d happily book this hotel again on another trip to Venice. Just let them know if you’ll arrive late, since check-in has a policy to keep in mind.

I’m in Venice for work and have been really impressed with this place. My ensuite room was spotless, even the mattress, and everyone has been so nice. They offered me breakfast at no charge, though I can’t make it because my conference starts early. I have about 500k Bonvoy points, but Marriott is charging more than €1,000 a night. I honestly don’t get it. The people giving this place one star are being jerks.

The receptionist was extremely friendly, and there’s a small free breakfast that’s nothing fancy but enough to get you going. The room is on the small side, though quite nice for a two star hotel, with a bidet, fridge, and complimentary tea and coffee. I’ve stayed in four star places without those. It takes around 10-15 minutes to reach Venice’s major sights, so the area is a little calmer, although you can still hear people. One thing to watch for: the hotel sign uses a different name from the one on Google. They’ll tell you what to look for after you book, but it would be better if the names matched.

The room itself was okay, but we heard a lot of street noise and the price felt high for what we got. Check-in was a hassle, with very limited hours and nowhere to leave a key. The doors are confusing too, with several codes, keys, and warnings. If people keep locking themselves out, maybe the system needs changing.
