We spent three nights here and loved it. The staff were amazing, and we each had a clean, lovely bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was a nice surprise for the price. Lido is residential and very quiet, but still close to the water taxi stand and downtown.

The family members in room 306 had a slightly better stay, but it still fell below basic standards. The decor was damaged, the curtains were visibly cut, and drainage was a problem. The drains were partly blocked and standing water made it impossible to shower. It seems maintenance has failed throughout the building. Our first room, ground floor No 2, was frankly uninhabitable. There was a sickening smell of damp and stagnant drains as soon as we opened the door. Plaster was crumbling off dirty, grimy walls, and the blocked drains turned a simple shower into a mess. We booked expecting a 4-star experience at Russo Palace Hotel, but found a damp, smelly, poorly maintained building that looks like it hasn't had a renovation or deep clean in years. Don't be fooled by the label or online photos. Seeing the plaster crumble while smelling the drains isn't the Venice experience people pay for. Avoid this hotel. I've attached photos and videos of what I described. I wonder how others gave good reviews. The hotel will also be reported to the European authorities and the Italian ministry of tourism. My stay was from 17/02/26 to 19/02/26.

I needed a room at the last minute and came across this hotel. I've been coming to Lido for years, and the prices were among the best I've seen there, so I didn't expect much. I was pleasantly surprised: nice rooms, a great sea view, helpful staff, and a comfortable mattress. The public free beach is a ten minute walk away. Nothing but positives, and the best price to quality ratio I've found in Lido so far. Don't hesitate to stay here.

The lagoon views are absolutely beautiful. The location is very good, near the vaporetto station, about a 10 minute walk away, and there's a bus right at the door.

I stayed from July 12th to 14th. The hotel is in a very convenient spot in Lido Venezia, peaceful and quiet, with the Lido water terminal and restaurants within easy walking distance. The room was okay, and breakfast was just okay too. Venice's attractions are only 20 minutes away. The receptionist was friendly and nice.
