The staff's care and politeness really made this place part of our Venice trip. Everyone, from the porters and housekeeping to the bar and restaurant teams and receptionists, was helpful and attentive. Hans, the concierge, was especially helpful, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was served in a calm indoor spot by the water, away from the crowds. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated in Venetian style, well equipped, spotless, and had comfortable beds with extra pillows and bedding. Laundry and dry cleaning were quick, efficient, and reasonably priced. They also offer their own private water taxi for a guided visit to the glassworks in Murano. The location is hard to beat, overlooking Piazza San Zaccaria, which stays quiet even when busy. San Zaccaria vaporetto dock is a minute away, the Bridge of Sighs is two minutes away, and Piazza di San Marco is three minutes away. The only real drawback was having just three wall sockets, including one in the bathroom, with none beside the beds. Our short stay in Venice was the highlight of our two-week trip across six hotels.

Our room looked out toward San zaccharia church, and the bed was comfortable. The Venetian-style rooms are in a quiet side street, though it's close to San Marco Square. Breakfast is available at a partner hotel, but it's basic. The wifi could use some improvement.

We had a wonderful time here, with everything close by. The rooms were very nice. In one of our three rooms, the AC only cooled to about 77 degrees, which wasn't cold enough for someone like me who likes it freezing. That was my only complaint. Highly recommended!

The location is unbeatable if you're hoping to stay near St Marks Square. Vaporetto and Alilaguna stops are just across the street, and there's a public water fountain right outside the door for filling bottles. The staff were super helpful and friendly. They lent me a travel adaptor and kept giving my son bags of Easter cookies whenever they saw him 😊. Our smart room was a bit tight, as you'd expect.

We had a very nice stay in a comfortable, clean room, and the location was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful, so I'd recommend the place. Coffee-making facilities in the rooms would be a welcome addition.
