Hotel Saturnia & International

Gianlucca made our Venice experience. Born and raised here, he gave us recommendations we loved, and every restaurant and outing he suggested was perfect. The hotel location couldn't be better, and breakfast was excellent. Our top floor room was stunning, with a sitting area, a bar area, and lovely views across the cathedral and Venetian rooftops. Thoughtful, elegant, and deeply comfortable, we felt completely looked after and will stay here again when we're back in Venice.

We felt so well looked after that we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Venice. The staff handled dining reservations and sightseeing advice, and seemed to anticipate what we needed. A sunrise water taxi through the canals was a perfect final touch, and having a private water taxi dock was very convenient. The rooftop was a highlight, especially with wine and views over the Venetian rooftops at sunrise and in the evening. Breakfast was outstanding, with fresh pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice, and excellent coffee. When we left early, the staff prepared coffee to go. Our arrival and luggage service were seamless, and the room was impeccably comfortable, with plush robes and slippers. The bathroom was beautifully designed for easy shared use, and the street facing window captured the charm of Venice. On our 2024 family trip through Milan, Florence, Tuscany, and Rome, Hotel Saturnia & International stood out as the best hotel experience we had in Italy. Truly world class.

Valeria in the breakfast area made a big difference. She greeted us with a smile each morning, kept everything just right, and made us feel welcome and valued, almost at home. Everyone on staff was friendly, attentive, and ready to help. The room was beautiful, very clean, and well maintained, with a comfortable feel that made it easy to relax after a long day. The facilities and common areas were clean, modern, and well managed, and things ran smoothly. You can tell they pay attention to details. Between the rooms, facilities, and personal service, this hotel exceeded my expectations. I'd definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and personal attention.

Breakfast might have been our favorite meal in Venice. Our family of four found the room very comfortable, with an American size king for mum and dad and two twin beds for the kids. The staff were very helpful at check in. We arrived hours early, but they held our bags while we explored, then made things easy once the room was ready. The location was handy for all the main places we wanted to visit, and we'd definitely stay at Hotel Saturnia again if we return to Venice.
