The room was super clean and had a balcony, and the shared washroom outside it was spotless and smelled nice. There’s also a kitchen with basic amenities. Finding the entrance was difficult because there’s no reception. The guy asked for an extra 4€ per person as a Tourist Tax. The neighborhood seemed like an immigrants area, and people kept staring at us for no reason. My stay was okay overall.

For $58 a night, I found the place comfy, clean, and friendly on a college budget. The shared bathroom was clean and the hallway quiet. The host was clear and kind. Reach out on Whatsapp at least 30 minutes before you arrive so they can send the entry instructions, which aren’t obvious if you don’t know the place, and explain everything without you waiting for them to get there. I’m not sure why the reviews are so bad. Read the description!

The location is great, and Venice Park House is a good choice if you don’t want to spend much on accommodation. They charge an extra 8 euros per night, though, and one of the two staff members was very rude while the other was very kind. I still recommend it.

There are cafes just around the corner, and COOP supermarket is a 5-minute walk away. It’s very central in Venice Maghera, close to the tram and bus station for Venice. Buses come every 6 minutes, and a ticket to Venice is 1,5 Euro. Cappuccino costs 1,40 Euro and croissants 1 Euro. The accommodation has rooms and a shared bathroom, a tea maker, and a balcony, but no lift. There was a strange smell in the room at first.

The host was very unfriendly. All the information was provided and understood when the stay was booked, but after 3 months they came back from Coma and asked to cancel.
