We could walk to the historic center and port in just a few minutes, with the beach, restaurants, and a bar close by too. Our dog was welcome at this lovely, peaceful property, and the terraces looked out over the sea. The staff were kind and went out of their way to meet our requests. My partner, our dog, and I had a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend it.

The way the keys were handled was the biggest concern: every room had the same lock, and we were told to leave our keys in an unattended bin outside at departure. Someone from outside the property stole from our group. The staff then accused us of lying about the hotel’s condition and were rude throughout. Our room had cockroaches, two scorpions, and a spider. When we asked for a room change or disinfection, they just sprayed and remade the beds, saying the problem was fixed. Breakfast was meager, just one croissant and a slice of tart each. On arrival we got a long lecture about rules, privacy, and curfew, yet the hygiene was nonexistent. They demanded order and punctuality but routinely showed up half an hour late for meals. Unacceptable. I strongly advise against staying here.

A stay to forget. I strongly advise against this property.

The security arrangements were troubling. We were specifically told to leave our room doors unlocked, and later €100 and other personal items went missing from our group. After our teachers protested, some staff members made very serious accusations against them. The rooms also had a persistent moldy smell that clung to the walls, sheets, and curtains. Our room, called “the grotto” and apparently one of the most booked, had to be changed. The next day the air conditioning dripped, and the room was very hot. We also saw what looked like a full invasion of cockroaches. The food was barely passable, with mediocre, repetitive dishes that lacked seasoning. We don’t expect luxury, just cleanliness, respect, and common sense, but this place felt neglected and unwelcoming. The mismanagement and rudeness made for a strongly negative stay.
