Hotel Falco D'Oro by Falco D'Oro Hotels

Breakfast this morning was the worst experience. The waitress mimicked me holding a spoon and kept saying, 'spoon, spoon.' Halfway through breakfast, a male waiter told me to leave my suitcase outside, where nobody would be watching it. I was trying to work out what to do, then called my friend to help look after the luggage, and the waitress mocked the way I spoke again. I was charged a service fee for eating at the restaurant last night, yet the service was so poor. I urge the economy to take this seriously. The hotel's service has ruined its reputation.

The hotel and rooms were clean, and the Wi-Fi worked well. The plain room is only suitable for thin people, since taking a shower in that shower room is simply impossible. Breakfast was poor, like a low-quality cake from a shop. Even when I asked, they didn't serve me coffee, and the coffee maker made bad coffee instead. I got a cappuccino at the bar next to the hotel for 1.6 euros. I expected more.

Beautiful setting and amazing food. Everything was great!

The village is lovely, and the hotel is friendly and clean, with helpful staff. Our room was airy and spacious, and the cleanliness was very good. The TV has BBC World News, CNN, and a Chinese station, among others. We only ate at the hotel for breakfast, which we found excellent. The internet was slow and patchy, the one negative, though it was nice in our case to get away from the connected world. Getting to the village means driving narrow roads with hairpin bends, but the views make it an interesting trip. We loved the hotel and were glad we chose it.
