The terrace suite was a great place to stay. Its terrace looks out over the sea and the main town square, and the location is one of the best in town. Vernazza has plenty of steps and hills, so the climb up to the unit felt fine. The owner also replied to messages quickly.

Marta, the owner, never mentioned the narrow, difficult stairs, which made an already frustrating stay worse. The supposed private parking is more than a kilometer away and hard to reach. And if you're four people expecting the two-room apartment suggested by the “terrace” listing, be prepared for disappointment: it’s a studio with a terrace, without a separate living room and bedroom. The advertising is misleading and seems designed to confuse. It spoiled our enjoyment of the view.
