I booked 3 nights through Booking.com, but after I arrived the host and I agreed that I’d stay 2 nights and pay for 2, including 2 nights of city tax. They confirmed on WhatsApp, “Yea. No problem,” and said they couldn’t change it in Booking.com’s system, so I had to call Booking. They never updated the booking or gave me written confirmation. On the day I was leaving after 2 nights, they came to my room and pressured me to leave without showing any proof of our agreement. It felt like a shady way to charge for nights I wouldn’t stay. The location also isn’t as close to the main area as they claim, which is misleading. The property is in bad condition, and I have photos. I have screenshots and pictures of the claims and the agreement they refused to honor. This was completely unprofessional and dishonest, and didn’t feel safe for travelers. Save yourself the headache and book somewhere reputable.

The staff member who welcomed me was cool, and the rooms were spacious and clean. The place is in a great spot, the bathrooms were good, and towels and soap were provided. The Wi-Fi worked well, and I liked having a key to lock my room for some privacy.

The rooms were good, and the person looking after the place was friendly and helpful. Just note that the bathrooms are shared and the TV only has Italian channels.
