Verona Suites

The mattress was a bit springy and noisy, which is the one thing I’d change. Otherwise, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and we got a lovely welcome with a helpful explanation of things when we arrived. Breakfast was chosen the afternoon or evening before, then brought to the room right on time both mornings. There was plenty, and it was delicious. The city was easy to explore on foot from here. I’d happily stay again.

We found it quieter on a higher floor, as one side of the hotel faces a busy shopping street. The suites are well equipped, and you can have breakfast brought to your room, with eggs and bacon available if you want them. The hotel is right by the arena and Piazza Bra. With only 10 suites, service feels personal, and the team were friendly and happy to share advice and recommendations. They made us feel like family.

We only stayed one night, and around 9 pm there was a lot of noise from people on the street below our room. The hotel itself was quiet, though, and I’d stay again, this time bringing earplugs. The room was modern and upscale while still comfortable. The staff were really friendly and spoke English. We were just off a small side street near the Coliseum, with easy access to everything.

Lour was kind, professional, and helpful from the moment we arrived. He checked us in early once the room was ready, gave us great restaurant tips, and was always glad to call a taxi or answer questions. The staff made our stay even better. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and everything felt thoughtfully arranged. Escalus Luxury Suites is also perfectly placed: across from one of Verona’s best pizzerias, a short walk from Juliet’s Balcony, and steps from the Opera House. There are plenty of restaurants and gelato shops nearby, too. We couldn’t have been happier here. Highly recommend Escalus Luxury Suites for a visit to Verona.
