The room was lovely, and the host was great. Buses serve the area well, though it’s a bit outside the city. The air conditioning couldn’t be set below 25 degrees, which was too warm for me to sleep well.

The owner was friendly, and the place was clean and as described. It’s about a mile from the train station, and the sights are some distance away: the Arena is around a 2.5-mile walk, though you can take a bus. Parking was offered, but get in touch before arrival since there’s no staff on site. We arranged to meet, then waited half an hour to check in.

The rooms have lots of space and the price was fair. The place seemed newly remodeled, and it was clean and secure. There’s a bus stop nearby, and the train station is about a mile away.

Luciano Diletta was fantastic: kind, friendly, and welcoming. He gave us all the information we needed to find places to eat and go out nearby. His B&B is lovely and comfortable, too. I know where I’ll stay next time, and I’d gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Verona.

We didn’t need the car at all for the two days we were there, which worked out well for the fair’s location. Luciano was kind and helpful, and the rooms were clean and neat. We’ll come back.
