Residenza Mazzini

The location is terrific, right on Via Mazzini, a central pedestrian street. Room 5 was spacious, clean, and very nice, with an elevator right in the room. A few things were missing, though, including decent bathroom lighting and a soap dispenser in the shower. Breakfast was at a nearby café: you showed a voucher and got coffee or cappuccino, a croissant, and juice. The maximum price felt too high for what was offered, though the minimum price seemed fair given the location. Check-in at the Venchi gelateria was unacceptable, as we had to stand at a crowded counter, even though the staff were kind.

We were offered Venchi ice cream when we checked in, which was a nice touch. Our room was spacious and clean, and the balcony looked out onto Via Mazzini. There's an elevator directly to the rooms. Everything was fabulous!

Even in the middle of the city, the room was perfectly quiet and relaxing. It was charming, welcoming, and carefully finished down to the smallest details, with a spectacular view over Via Mazzini. The welcome at the Venchi chocolate shop was an unexpected delight, and the staff were very kind. Highly recommended!

The room was clean and modern, the location very central, and the staff really friendly. But it was much too noisy at night, with people yelling in the street until 3 AM!
