We were only told the under-eye patch cost money after we'd already used it. It was sitting in what looked like a wellness kit, with no clear notice when we arrived that it wasn't complimentary. The next day, we got a message saying we had to pay €20. If we'd known beforehand, we wouldn't have used it. A little QR code beside the item isn't clear enough to tell guests it's paid, especially when it's included in a kit like that. The whole thing felt misleading and unprofessional, so we refused to pay the €20. Future guests should check first and get explicit confirmation that these items are free. Otherwise, you could be asked for money after using them.

The property was quite far from the city centre, which made things less convenient than we'd expected. Then we were asked for €20 for an under-eye patch only after using it. It had been presented as part of a “wellness kit,” with no clear notice anywhere that it cost extra. Had that been explained upfront, we wouldn't have used it. Asking for payment afterwards felt unfair and misleading, so we refused to pay.

We only spent one night here, but felt very welcome and had a great stay. The apartment was bright and had all the comforts. Parking was the main drawback. With the apartment buildings around it, there might not be a space right outside if you arrive at night. There was no bidet either. We'd definitely stay again if we return to Verona.

We'd booked months ahead, but when we arrived the owner said she hadn't seen the reservation and had rented the room to someone else. She'd taken the money from our card just two days earlier, though. She wouldn't even let us come upstairs to talk it through in person. After keeping us on the phone for 10 minutes, she left us without a room. Strongly discouraged.
