Lovely house and lovely owners : )

The owners made us feel so welcome 😍. We had plenty of room in the living area to hang out with friends, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. A great spot for a romantic city break in Verona.

There’s a public swimming pool just 100 meters away, and transport options like buses, bike sharing, and electric scooters are only a few meters from the property. It also works well as a base for walking or cycling in the hills, including mountain biking. The house sits in a quiet spot on the hills above Verona, inside a large private park, and has been renovated from a historic home. The city center, San Zeno, and the Arena are about 10 minutes away. Exceptional!

We paid €90 for one night for two, with payment due right away in cash. Breakfast wasn’t included, unfortunately. The apartment has free Wi-Fi throughout, plus a kitchen with a Lavazza coffee maker, sink, gas stove, boiler, cutlery, cups, a table, sofa, and TV. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, bidet, and sink. There’s also a roomy double bedroom with an antique-style bed, wardrobe, desk, full-length mirror, and French window. It’s about a 10-minute drive from the center, with greenery all around and a lovely city view. In the evening you can hear the cicadas. The road up is very steep, though there’s parking in the courtyard. The owner was kind and helpful, gave us the electric gate keys and maps of Verona.
