The mountain view from the balcony made the bright, clean room especially lovely. The owner was very welcoming, and the shared bathroom was spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent 💗

Lucia made us feel at home with her attentive help and warm hospitality. Breakfast was varied and generous, with fresh croissants, cold cuts, cheeses, milk, juices, and more. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Our bathroom wasn't ensuite, but it was on the same floor, kept spotless, and reserved for our use. We visited during the hottest week of summer, yet the guest-controlled air conditioning kept the room cool and quiet through the night. Verrès is a handy base for exploring the area, whether for a night or a longer stay, and works well for couples or solo travelers. From here you can head to Champoluc in the Ayas Valley, Gressoney in the Lys Valley, Monte Rosa, or Mont Avic Natural Park. Medieval sights nearby include Verrès Castle, Issogne Castle, and Bard Fort. Free parking next to the property made getting around easy.

The rooms were clean, and the hostess was friendly and courteous. It's quiet and close to the highway exit and a very good restaurant. The Carabinieri and fire stations are nearby too, which feels reassuring. My only drawback was having to share the bathroom, though there are only a few rooms 😁

We found the room comfortable, with secure storage for our bikes, and breakfast was generous enough for even demanding hikers and pilgrims. The staff were very friendly, and the prices reasonable. It's a great base in Verres for the lower Aosta Valley, or for hiking and mountain biking along the Via Francigena. We'll definitely return.
