We booked six nights but left after five days. We were still charged for the sixth day's parking, at €6 per day, and the owner told me, “You will not decide what you pay for.” I found that very unpleasant, and it outweighed every positive. I give this place a 1. The worst part was room No. 4. It smelled awful, even though I'm not very sensitive to odors. When I raised it, the owner said it didn't smell. I offered to show him the room, but he refused, saying he knew there was no smell. That's not acceptable. There was another billing issue with water at lunch and dinner. The daytime receptionist personally told me it was free, but it appeared on our checkout bill. When I explained what I'd been told, the owner said something was wrong with me and that I must have misunderstood. The staff were nice, everyone except the owner, and the food was fairly tasty and varied. Breakfast is buffet style, while lunch and dinner are made individually for each guest. My boyfriend eats twice as much as I do, but we got the same portions. I was full, he wasn't. If you want to ruin your vacation, welcome to Pardini.

We arrived with two kids, and on the first day our room and the hotel seemed really nice, clean and comfortable. The rooms look well renovated, and they're very clean. Best of all, it's so close to the beach. After breakfast and our three-night stay, I'll be happy to update this with my final review for Room #115.

The location is ideal, with the beach and restaurants right opposite and the train station a 15-minute walk away. Room no 9 has splendid views, a comfy bed and a hot, powerful shower, if you can get it. Breakfast was plentiful and very nice. The owners were welcoming and happy to help with advice. We'd definitely stay again, 100%. Absolutely amazing, you MUST go!

My room was small, but very clean, and the sunset view from it each night during my September stay was spectacular. The owners and service staff couldn't have been nicer. I'd highly recommend it.

The people who run and work here are sweethearts, and they know a lot about places to eat in the city. They speak Italian, French and English. If one is available, ask for a room with a balcony, it makes a real difference. Breakfast was mostly pastries, fruit, eggs and bacon. Loved my stay.
